Esanatoglia Church of the Hermitage of Saint Cataldo
The Hermitage of Saint Cataldo was mentioned in the municipal statutes of 1324. The church, in its current condition, dates back to the 18th century. It consists of four buildings grouped together, facing the steepest side of the mountain and partially excavated from the rock itself. The entrance of the church faces northwest. The building has one nave, with a frescoed lateral chapel and elevated presbytery. Repair works from damage provoked by the earthquake on 26.9.1997 were completed in 2005.
