Inaugurated in 2008, it is located inside of the Bordoni building, an ancient 18th century building, representing excellence in photographic art.
The museum includes two important private collections. The first belongs to the Roman reporter, Adriano Andreani, a great fan of filming equipment. It consists of about seven hundred photo cameras and movie cameras, coming from all over the world, that date from mid-19th century to the digital era. All of the cameras are in excellent condition and function perfectly. The second belongs to the photographer Vincenzo Marzocchini, academic and expert in photographic history, consisting of about eight hundred photos and prints that retrace the various techniques of reproducing the photographic images taken by illustrious Italian and foreign masters, with some pertaining to the Marche territory and the society in those years around the middle of the nineteenth century. 2008
